As an Assembler, you will perform electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations to build and assemble units of moderate complexity. This role involves working under limited supervision and using various tools to integrate components into subassemblies and assemblies.
ResponsibilitiesWork from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components.Identify and select components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).One to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Strong willingness to learn.Ability to stand for entire shift, use hand tools, and work well with others.1+ years of consistent working experience.6+ months of manufacturing work experience or other relevant mechanical experience.Why Work Here?Join a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that opened in late 2021, offering a climate-controlled and organized environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. Work EnvironmentWork in a brand new, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a very pleasant atmosphere. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift runs either 5am - 3:30pm or 6am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday, with availability needed on Fridays as required. 2nd shift runs 2:30pm - 1am Monday-Thursday, with Fridays as needed. The noise level is usually moderate, and you may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
