Join our team as an Assembler on the 1st shift, where you'll start by gasketing and then transition to building. This role offers a dynamic environment with potential for overtime and weekend work. Candidates will initially work on gasketing sheet metal plates, using a tape gun and collaborating with a partner. The department is fast-paced, and you'll have opportunities to advance and earn a pay increase once you transition to the building phase.
ResponsibilitiesGasket sheet metal plates using a tape gun.Work collaboratively with a partner at the opposite end of the table.Build up to gasketing 400 plates per shift.Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.Operate overhead cranes for building heat exchangers.Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.Lift and fit products together weighing 60lbs+.Engage in lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.Experience with operating overhead cranes.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to lift 50lbs+ independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (Company offers a GED program).Experience in a fast-paced production environment.Why Work Here?Enjoy a climate-controlled facility that emphasizes 5S principles, ensuring a neat, clean, and organized work environment. Work EnvironmentWork on the first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities to extend until 4:30 PM. The manufacturing floor is organized and spacious, with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. This role requires regular lifting, climbing, standing, and the use of various hand and power tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
