Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an entry-level Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by completing job cards, routers, and necessary documentation. You will operate various equipment to manufacture cable assemblies. This position requires maintaining material traceability and ensuring the quality of assembled parts through visual and tactile inspection. You will also perform proof-loading, gather samples for testing and inspection, and package and label processed materials according to job card instructions. Reporting quality issues to supervisors or quality personnel is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

Complete job documentation.Operate equipment including lathes, welders, and grinders.Maintain material traceability and complete records.Inspect assembled parts visually and through touch.Gather samples for inspection.Package and label materials according to instructions.Report quality issues.

Essential Skills

Visual inspection proficiency.Ability to work with your hands.Good documentation practices.Attention to detail.Ability to analyze data and problem-solve.Proficiency in English: speaking, reading, and writing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior manufacturing experience preferred.Self-motivated.Understanding of part workmanship.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
