Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Under the direction of production supervision, the Assembler 2 is responsible for building the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company production standards and customer specifications. This role requires adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assemble products following engineering documents, ensuring the highest quality and meeting production goals and delivery requirements.Operate computers to check schedules and update the manufacturing status of jobs.Perform operator-based Go-No-Go testing per procedures.Monitor the quality of parts used in the assembly process continuously.Assist in training other employees, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems.Perform material handling activities as required.Review assembly processes and methods, recommending changes to improve productivity and quality.Interface with engineering to communicate information accurately.Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, and reject tickets.Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Essential Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.High School diploma and up to 2 years of experience in assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
