Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler in the torque and testing department. This role involves physical tasks such as preparing pup joints, cleaning threads, and spinning pipes into equipment multiple times a day. You will also work in pressure testing, using tools like pipe wrenches, and may assist in other departments when necessary. You will work closely with a team in a hands-on environment without machine assistance.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare pup joints, which includes lifting pipes weighing up to 50 pounds.Clean threads by removing debris and reapplying lubricant.Spin pipes into equipment up to 50 times per day.Perform pressure testing using pipe wrenches and operate testing equipment.Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, keys, screwdrivers, and pneumatic tools.Assist in other departments as needed when work is slow.Essential SkillsBasic knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and measuring tapes.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with overhead cranes and production machine operation.Forklift experience.Technical training or further educational experience.Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in equipment assembly.Familiarity with 5S methodology.Experience with scanners is preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art facility with an emphasis on cleanliness and technology. The work schedule is typically 8am to 4:30pm, with no overtime required at the moment. However, flexibility to work every other weekend may be necessary. The workload is influenced by the drilling season, with busier periods in winter and summer.
