**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling components by studying blueprints and specifications, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. + Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements. + Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies. + Verify specifications by measuring completed components. + Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying the supervisor for additional resources. + Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs. + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies. + Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. + Document actions by completing production and quality forms and logging labor hours. + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and use a measuring tape. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Reliable transportation. + Willingness to work full time and overtime. + Availability for 1st shift starting at 5 am to 1:30 pm or 6 am to 2:30 pm. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in construction, manufacturing, or labor. + Familiarity with hand tools and tape measures. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a longstanding tradition of quality and innovation, where we prioritize learning and improvement. You will be working in a lamination building that assembles side walls, ceilings, and floors for campers and trailers. Our 141,000 square foot, 22-acre campus in California is a testament to our commitment to building safe, quality products. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
