**Job Title: Shock Assembler (Starts 1st week of January)**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team at a shock assembly plant where your skills will contribute to building high-quality shocks used in Polaris equipment including ATVs, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, and motorcycles. This role involves using hand and power tools on a production line to assemble shocks based on written instructions. The assembly process is straightforward yet fast-paced, with daily production targets to achieve.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work on a production line to assemble shocks according to written work instructions.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively to meet assembly requirements.
+ Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production quotas.
+ Ensure quality and consistency in the assembly of shocks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-6 months of experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing, construction, energy, or automotive setting.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to convey necessary tasks.
+ Capability to work overtime as required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in assembly line work, particularly in manufacturing assembly.
+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly and usage of tape measures.

**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a manufacturing facility with metal table stations for assembly. The environment is fast-paced, and the use of power tools requires adherence to safety protocols. The facility can be warm, with fans in place to maintain air circulation. Dress comfortably for a production setting and be prepared for close-quarters teamwork. The goal is to build 700 shocks per day until March, decreasing to 600 shocks in April.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
