Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet throughout the workday and possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be cross-trained in various areas of a 12-step process.

Responsibilities

Document receiving of parts and materials.Perform factory resets by manually pressing a button.Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs, with cycle times ranging from 60-90 minutes.Carry out Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests.Perform cosmetic cleaning and repairs.Engage in In Process Quality Control (IPQC).Assemble kits and prepare them for palletizing for specific clients.Ship completed products.Scan parts at every step of the process to ensure quality control.

Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail.Ability to stand for the entire workday.Proficient in working collaboratively with others.Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Hand dexterity.Punctuality.Experience in assembly, packing, retail, and repair.Skills in soldering, testing equipment, using RF scanners, computers, reading blueprints, and operating power tools.General labor experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new facility equipped with a locker area and a cafeteria featuring refrigerators and microwaves. Located in Elgin, IL, the site is easily accessible, being half a mile north of I-90 and south of Route 72, near Randall Road, and close to gas stations and restaurants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
