**Assembler – Contract to Hire** **Location:** Lexington, Virginia **Pay Range:** $24–$27/hour **Shifts Available:** + **2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays) + **3rd Shift:** 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays) **Position Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Assembler** to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling units according to the dimensional drawings and instructions given by the group leader. You’ll rotate across various workstations and use hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently. **Key Responsibilities** + Interpret and follow dimensional drawings and assembly instructions + Utilize tools such as impact guns, pliers, wrenches, and tape measures + Assemble components, including casings, frames, and A-coils + Route wiring and connect sub-assemblies + Identify and report defective parts or materials + Accurately record completed tasks and maintain documentation + Adhere to safety protocols and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) **Required Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in assembly, general labor, and using hand/power tools + Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools + Skills in brazing and welding are a plus + Comfortable working on an assembly line and performing repetitive tasks + Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods + Strong attendance record and a positive, team-oriented attitude + Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and environments **Work Environment** + Large, non-temperature-controlled plant setting + Physical demands include lifting (non-repetitive), stooping, and prolonged standing/walking **Why Join Us?** We offer a competitive benefits package including: + Paid vacation + 401(k) retirement plan + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + Flexible spending accounts + Tuition reimbursement + Opportunities for growth and advancement + We are proud to be recognized as an employer of choice in Lexington, VA. **\#AeroJobsLexVA** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.53 - $27.14/hr.
