Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team in unbundling wires and components/connectors for kitting. The role involves standing at a billboard, placing wires, and connecting them to form wire harness assemblies. Once assembled, the harness is tested electrically with the push of a button. The assembler is also responsible for taping wires together.

Work Environment

The company is ISO certified and supplies electronic parts, including wire harnesses, to major clients like Schneider Electric and Caterpillar. While the facility is heated during winter, it is not climate controlled and can become hot in the summer. The standard work schedule is 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime available on Fridays. The dress code requires T-shirts and pants without holes, rips, or tears, and closed-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
