Job Title: Assembler I

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I to join our team in California within the Light Industrial category. This role involves setting up and adjusting equipment used in manufacturing while performing routine technical troubleshooting under general supervision. The work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Perform set-up operations for assembly, packaging, and prep in compliance with documentation and QSR.Conduct line clearance, equipment preventive maintenance, and housekeeping.Follow detailed written or verbal instructions to complete routine tasks.Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products.Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and equipment repair.Complete and maintain documentation related to product manufacturing and equipment maintenance.Clean and perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.Dispose of hazardous waste in designated areas.Support continuous improvement activities such as 5S and OEE.Participate in new equipment installation and validation.Assist in resolving product quality issues.Read and comprehend basic instructions and work-related documents.Demonstrate customer service skills while maintaining product quality.Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions under supervision.Collaborate with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, QC Technicians, and Management on process improvements.Handle semi-routine assignments requiring judgment in problem-solving and recommendations.Understand quality implications of job performance and potential device defects.Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates.Comply with established business policies.Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or GED.1–3 years of related experience.Basic communication and writing skills.Limited judgment required for troubleshooting proven processes.Ability to work in a quality system environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Familiarity with regulations such as FDA, ISO, and OSHA.Basic understanding of manufacturing systems, including documentation, compliance, inventory control, and production scheduling/controls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
