Our client, a subsidiary of a major international heavy equipment manufacturer, is seeking Assemblers to join their operations team. An Assembler is responsible for assembly and disassembly, testing and packaging of product.

Responsibilities

Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy Use of pneumatic tools, including grinders, air ratchet, impact gun and rivet gun Slag removal via air gun and mallet Steam clean pieces to ensure part is from?dirt and chips Dip parts into rust remover Oil parts prior to packaging Final inspection of parts Band work pieces and prepare for shippingRequirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive operations Ability to life up to 35 lbsSuccessful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Blueprint reading experience Caliper and other measuring tool reading Attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training Effective communication skills
