**Job Title: Assembler 3** Job Description Under general supervision, the Assembler 3 performs tasks of substantial variety or complexity, requiring a thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment. The role involves working from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions. Responsibilities + Perform basic and complex assembly, wiring, and erection of products and systems under general supervision. + Read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring drawings. + Devise and utilize nonstandard procedures. + May assign and check work of lower-level personnel. + Coordinate work with other groups to ensure commitments are met. + Perform duties in compliance with prevailing quality procedures and policies. + Follow standard practices and procedures in resolving basic and complex problems. + Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. + Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Essential Skills + 2-5 years of related experience in assembly. + Experience with assembly in a factory setting, preferably with torque tools. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. + Capable of performing wiring, soldering, and crimping tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School degree or equivalent. + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. + Ability to stand for extended periods. + Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools. No travel is required for this assembly position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mechanicsville, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
