Assembler – Aerospace Industry
Full-Time, Consultant (12 Months) | North Charleston, SC | Starting at $27.13/hr
Do you have hands-on experience in aerospace or manufacturing and a passion for precision work? PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in aerospace, is seeking Assemblers to join their team in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to building and supporting world-class aircraft by performing critical assembly and testing operations that keep production moving forward.
What You’ll DoAs an Assembler, you will:
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
Conduct functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and troubleshoot faults.
Document and assess test data to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications with accuracy.
Identify production challenges and escalate issues when needed.
Collaborate with teammates, supporting cross-training and mentoring to improve overall team performance.
Adhere to strict safety and compliance standards in all tasks.
What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with 1+ years of related work experience (aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing).
1+ years of experience in electrical assembly, avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and/or aircraft electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer applications.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) as required by business needs.
Ability to meet physical demands including standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, crouching, and lifting.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience at an aerospace OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Familiarity with aerospace systems, processes, or similar aerospace standards.

Pay Details: $27.13 per hour
