Job Description
The Production Assembly Technician fabricates Barrier Filters and Aero structures for commercial and military rotorcraft, ensuring engines are protected from unscheduled maintenance or replacement. Assembly Technicians are tasked with efficiently performing all tasks while maintaining accurate records, following procedures and policies, and focusing on first pass yields.
ResponsibilitiesBuild Engine Inlet Air Filtration Systems for rotorcraft.Maintain an acceptable level of attendance as per the Attendance Policy.Install and remove universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max, hi-shear fasteners, and platenuts.Work with and around a variety of chemicals, adhering to standards regarding personal protective equipment.Interpret Engineering drawings and other documents to ensure proper build completion.Effectively document job completion paperwork.Use protective equipment as required.Build sheet metal sub-assemblies to specifications for CH-53K, UH-60's, and other low volume parts.Select and use appropriate tools, including hand tools and power tools like pneumatic squeezes and battery-operated drills.Essential SkillsTechnical and mechanical skills for close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, and trimming.Ability to use micrometers, rulers, and calipers for in-process self-inspections.Experience in riveting is preferred.
Work Environment
Candidates must be open to working Monday through Friday, with a 4-day, 10-hour shift either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. There will be a significant amount of voluntary and some mandatory overtime required, potentially exceeding 50 hours per week. The climate-controlled, low volume assembly environment features a small shop setting, allowing individuals to stand out positively or negatively. Most tasks involve sitting at a bench.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
