Job Posting – Assembly
As an Assembler you will work within a team to to build Walker Evans shocks from start to completion. In this role, you’ll utilize various hand and power tools, following work instructions to achieve our Polaris quality standards. If you enjoy being a part of a team and using your problem-solving skills, then this is the role for you.
Core Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of products with complex functions requiring independent judgmentUnderstand and follow established procedures and processes to safely produce quality partsRecognize, communicate and document safety concernsTroubleshoot and adjust to build a quality productPerform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organizedComplete work documentation accurately such as production orders, tags, and quality sheetsEducation and Experience
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred but not requiredTechnical Degree within a related field from an accredited institution or 0-2 years of related mechanical assembly experienceMust be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within mechanical assemblyRelated manufacturing experience is preferredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipRequired Physical Demands:

The starting pay range for California is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
