Job Description
We are seeking several Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) who are responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
ResponsibilitiesFollow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including handling materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, action teams, etc.Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.Perform entry-level assembly functions, which may include prep, mechanical assembly, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings within Production.Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation such as screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.Perform pull-test, verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.Basic troubleshooting.Access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.) and be able to wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly, circuit board assembly, soldering, and electronic assembly.Ability to read blueprints and wire tabulation.Experience in mechanical assembly and cable assembly.Proficiency in using hand tools for circuit board repair and panel board assembly.Experience with quality control, crimping, and wiring.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and controlled environment with a casual dress code. Assemblers use ESD wrist straps and wear smocks over their personal clothes. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 6am to 3:30pm and every other Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime is expected and required once hired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
