**Job Title: Rebuild / Retrofit Technician Assistant** **Job Description** Join our team as a Rebuild / Retrofit Technician Assistant, where you will perform rebuild and retrofit tasks under the supervision of a qualified Technician. You will be involved in general assembly duties, cleaning vehicles or parts, and assisting Technicians in various functional areas. Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are properly scuffed, masked, and rust-free while adhering to safety procedures. **Responsibilities** + Perform rebuild and retrofit tasks under supervision. + Engage in general assembly duties. + Clean vehicles and parts as directed by Technicians. + Assist Technicians in other functional areas as required. + Prepare vehicles for painting by scuffing surfaces, employing masking techniques, and removing rust. + Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Experience in mechanics, repair, and retrofit tasks. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and assembly. + Use of hand tools. + Mechanically inclined. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Diploma required. + Ability to work swing shift. + Capability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing. + Must meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined spaces. **Why Work Here** Experience working in a leading manufacturing company with a good work culture.
