Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling piping for firetruck water systems. Your daily tasks will involve following blueprints and schematics, with a focus on mechanical assembly and some light 12V electrical wiring.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble piping systems for firetruck water systems.Follow detailed blueprints and schematics for accurate assembly.Perform light electrical wiring, primarily 12V.Utilize hand and power tools for cutting, bending, and measuring pipes.Ensure quality through regular inspection of assembled components.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs.Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Word.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor is advantageous.Ability to read and interpret tape measures.Must be physically capable of climbing, twisting, bending, and stooping.Ability to stand, squat, and grasp for extended periods.Strong team player with a solid work ethic.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a modern, well-lit, and clean facility that is temperature controlled. Safety is a top priority. The schedule includes a Monday to Thursday workweek from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with optional overtime available on Fridays. This is a first shift position.

This is a Contract position based out of Hamburg, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
