Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler on the first shift, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime. The first shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the possibility of starting as early as 3:30 AM or 4:00 AM. You will be part of a collaborative team working to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish, including assembly, inspection, packaging, and labeling.

ResponsibilitiesWork in teams of 4-5 to assemble and inspect sunglasses.Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.Prepare sunglasses for lens installation and quality auditing.Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.Use small tools to insert screws or pins to secure frames.Operate the pad printer, mix paint, and fix malfunctions as needed.Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.Send completed products to Quality Auditor for final inspection.Set up workstations at the start of each shift.Demonstrate flexibility as job duties and departments may change.Stand and walk throughout the day, wearing comfortable shoes.Rotate job roles to limit repetitive movements.Essential SkillsAbility to stand for 8-10+ hours a day.Good attendance and reliability.No experience required, but helpful.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to pass DT & BK tests.Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.Three strikes mentality for attendance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment with a casual dress code. Close-toed shoes and protective eyewear are required throughout the shift. The role involves highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly tasks with daily metrics. Safety is a priority, with protective earplugs required in certain departments and regular stretches scheduled before and after lunch. A one-hour safety training is required before starting the position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $17.97/hr.
