Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Assembler 1 to join their team. As an Assembler 1, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a willingness to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assembler 1
**Location:** Sandy, UT
**Pay Range:** $17.00 + $0.50 shift differential
**Shift:** 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Mon - Thurs AND Sunday night (3rd shift) 8:30 PM - 5:00 AM Monday morning
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform a variety of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
+ Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment as required.
+ Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with established quality specifications.
+ Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines.
+ Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team goals.
**What's Needed?**
+ One year of manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with co-workers and supervisors.
+ Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
+ Basic math skills and the ability to use measurement tools, such as microscopes.
+ Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours and maintain punctual attendance.
