Job description
Responsible for building applications which will transform Alternative Investments team. Selected candidate would be part of an a rapidly growing Digital services team. This position is for a Mendix/Microservices software developer with experience in delivering a broad portfolio of screens for Alternative Investments division. Experience in the use of Mendix,J2EE, Python and React.js would be beneficial but not essential. Experience in other development environments such as Java or Microsoft .NET would be beneficial.

Being involved in the full DevOps lifecycle using microservices for backend and Mendix for UIDesign and develop solutions on the Mendix platform.Build capabilities using microservices and Mendix as UILeveraging Mendix Cloud experienceBeing responsible for all the project’s lifecycle – development, testing and deployment - from ideation to production using MendixOwning the guidelines and best practices and define the reusability strategy of componentsEliciting the requirements from the business, and design and implement business processes into Mendix as a core business platform.You will promote the Mendix platform within the Alts Digital Services TeamDesign build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.Test and maintain the developed UI to ensure strong functionality and optimizationBuild APIs and Services using RESTDevOps mindset: you build it, you run itKnowledge/Skills Required
Incumbent with good understanding of Mendix platform development. Should be able to Design end to end solution architecture.
Candidate should have experience in Mendix domain modelling Forms, complex microflow logic building, Non-persistent entities, transactions, Xpath constraints, user roles, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and Java script
4+ years of experience developing on any front-end applications.
Strong knowledge of software development principles.
Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.

Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter.
Enjoy and thrive working in a diverse team.
Enjoy engaging with business teams to help shape and inform thinking.
Work collaboratively with the business to turn ambiguity into requirements.

Understand Business requirements and translate them in to developments tasks and suggest the best solution in Mendix
Should have good knowledge of modern UI technologies and develop user friendly UI
Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environment and to be a Team player
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, issue resolution, communication and presentation skills
Desirable:
Experience of working in a Agile framework environment.
Experience in other development frameworks such as Microsoft .NET or Java.
