SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The American Sign Language Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion to quality ASL instruction and education, representing as an expert in teaching and ambassador for Berlitz. The instructor teaches the required language to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles. The instructor also participates in professional development courses and activities, ensuring familiarity with goal-oriented, student-centered instruction.
Our instructors are responsible for delivering the Berlitz method of learning a new language to a global community. Our instructors gain satisfaction in the interaction with our global learners, and the impact they have on achieving our goal of improving people’s lives globally.
Successful applicants will have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Teaching experience is a plus but not required. Ability to speak English fluently. Exceptional communication skills. Basic administrative skills, and computer knowledge in order to deliver lessons, and maintain student records Flexibility with work hours and availabilityDescription of the project
We need one ASL instructor for an online school program in who can teach after-school program between 9/25/2025 and 05/19/2026.

Any additional information: The teacher should have good group management skills as the groups may have up to 15 students and be comfortable with technology. Student age ranges from 12 to 14. The teacher will need to prepare slides for class
