Aseptic Monitoring Technician (2nd Shift Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-focused professional to join our team as an Aseptic Monitoring Technician. In this critical role, you will be responsible for performing environmental and utility monitoring within GMP-regulated cleanrooms and classified areas to ensure aseptic conditions and product integrity. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct routine environmental monitoring of aseptic manufacturing cleanrooms and classified process areas. + Perform sampling of high-purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems in accordance with GMP standards. + Handle, document, and manage samples following established procedures and regulatory requirements. + Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, media, and reagents to support continuous operations. + Support laboratory operations through cleaning of controlled temperature units, autoclave operation, and other essential lab duties. + Assist with scheduling and coordination of equipment maintenance and calibration activities. + Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and data entry. + Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required. + Contribute to the training and onboarding of new team members. Following Clean Room Restrictions:  + No cosmetic products (such as makeup, false lashes, etc) are permitted and must be removed prior to entry + Nails must be kept short, trimmed, and unadorned (no nail polish, adornments, etc) + No jewelry may be worn, (exceptions are medical alert related and one smooth ring band) + Hair must be able to be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet and all facial hair must be neatly trimmed and able to be secured in a beard cover. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a closely related Life Sciences field (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology + Understanding of microbes, microorganisms, and methods of contamination + Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail + Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude + Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Preferred Qualifications + Relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industries + Environmental Monitoring experience + cGMP Experience + Experience with LIMS Important Information This position is an indoor, lab-based role working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms and laboratory spaces. Position requires significant time spent in ISO 8 cleanrooms with the following restrictions: + No cosmetic products or applications (such as makeup, false lashes, spray tans etc) are permitted and must be removed before entry + Nails must be kept short, trimmed, and unadorned (no nail polish, rhinestones, etc) + No jewelry may be worn (exceptions are medical alert-related and one smooth ring band that can be easily covered by a glove) + Hair must be able to be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet, and all facial hair must be neatly trimmed and able to be secured in a beard cover. Ability to meet physical demands, including, but not limited to, routinely lifting objects of 25 lbs or more, walking and standing for extended periods, pushing or pulling carts and equipment, and bending down or reaching for supplies.
