About the Role
As ASEAN Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible to grow Harman’s automotive business to meet customer specific booking targets and lead various regional tasks to secure the customer account management in the region. You will engage with the customer(s) in an early stage to create business opportunities and drive our global team to these opportunities with healthy commercials to award, as well as need to secure customer account management to ramp up for a serial production
What You Will Do
Build or maintain a customer relation and fully understand customer expectations (cost, requirements, timing, strategy) and define internal targets to meetIdentify key stakeholders and decision makers to build up a relationship in order to develop new business pipeline and make a strategic approach to win new businessCustomer engagement up to management level, and leading business in ASEAN regionTo support CAM ROJ in Japan by managing various regional tasks to support local customer account Initiate long term sales plan, target and strategy to execute the pursuit activity for new business opportunities in alignment with the customer account strategy.Actively seek to identify a new opportunity to trigger new pursuits by driving early engagement activities including “war gaming” and 10 standards before RFI/RFQOwn RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible to lead a global team for the quote activity as well as for commercial sourcing negotiations with the customerAll account sales tasks in the region as account management By mutual communication with customer, to understand customer needs or pain point to propose Harman unique selling proposition and convince our valueStrongly drive our internal global team to build and execute the customer-fit strategyWhat You Need
Bachelor’s Degree Or equivalent10+ years in Automotive industry with related various sales experience preferredVarious experience in account management, business pursuit, project execution, SOP and serial maintenance for J-OEM projectExperience of handling customer EDI’s and all the document or process workPro-active, independent, self-starter and willing to challenge Good automotive engineering knowledge or understanding, specially In-Cabin solution Thorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotes / contractsStrong initiative and team management experienceStrong negotiation, presentation and communication skill, with strategic thinkingBuild up and maintain a solid customer relationship in management level Frequent travel (Domestic/International)English communication skillWhat is Nice to Have
5+ years in J-OEM account management experience, and master J-OEM business normSolid account management experience with multiple J-OEMs for a large projectsExperience in major Teir 1 supplier preferredExperience in International team managementBasic understanding of In-Cabin product (IVI, DCM, AR-HUD) as well as SW businessWhat Makes You Eligible
