Six enterprise offices support the work of the agency’s four program divisions. DCH employees are based in Atlanta, Cordele and across the state. The Department of Community Health is seeking qualified candidates for the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Program and Policy Manager position within the Medical Assistance Plans (Medicaid) Division. In partnership with the Behavioral Health and Member Services Director, the Behavioral Health Manager, external clinical consulting entities, and other key stakeholders, this position leads the forward-looking development and oversight of programs and policies governing the delivery of ASD services, including those that support individuals with ASD. The role provides leadership and coordination of ASD policy across both fee-for-service and Medicaid managed care delivery systems. The Medicaid Division, which accounts for approximately four billion dollars annually of the State's budget, is dedicated to advancing the health, wellness, and independence of those they serve by providing access to quality care and resources statewide to approximately two million Georgians. The position is based in Downtown Atlanta, GA (Fulton County). This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of the supervisor.
