Special Education Paraprofessional 

Partnered with Amergis Educational Staffing | 2025–2026 School Year | Up to $25/hr

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with schools in the Swansea, MA area to hire Special Education Paraprofessionals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. This is a meaningful opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment and make a daily impact in students’ lives.

Position Overview:

Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday–Friday, (32.5-35 hours per week depending on grade level) Location: Swansea, MA Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings Assist with behavior support plans and academic activities Collect and record data on student behavior and progress Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster a positive learning environment Offer flexible support across classrooms as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced in working with students with behavioral or high-needs challenges Skilled in de-escalation and behavior tracking Familiar with data collection tools and progress monitoring Calm, patient, and adaptable in dynamic school settings

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Special Education or Behavioral Experience CPR certification (if applicable) TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable) Health certificate (as required) Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
