The Biostatistics Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with a senior-level statistician on topics related to the design and analysis of clinical trials. The intern will learn about the general information of clinical studies in Transcatheter Heart Valve devices and how statistics is applied in these studies.
Purpose of Assignment:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Based Statistical Models for Aortic Stenosis Data Analysis
This project will explore AI based statistical models for AS data. The intern will acquire knowledge and hands-on experience on applying AI algorithms in analyzing clinical trial data and evaluate model performance. They will conduct literature reviews, write SAS/R/Python program for data analysis, explore the advantages of AI based statistical models, write reports on the analysis outcomes, and provide a final presentation to the group.
Goals to be achieved:
1. Project presentation of key findings
2. Final project report (including weekly update reports)
3. SAS/R/Python codes for conducting the project
What you'll need (Required):Current enrollment as a Ph.D. student at an accredited university for the duration of the Internship project with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Ability to work full-time for the duration of the Internship (May/June 2026 - Aug 2026)
Good scholastic standing (3.0+ cumulative GPA or equivalent)
Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
