Allied Universal is seeking Armed Security Officers to support the RTD Transit Security account in the Denver Metro area. This is a Flex Position, meaning you will have a set schedule but must also be available to provide coverage where needed throughout our transportation system. Flex Officers play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for riders, trains, and platforms. You must have independent transportation and the flexibility to commute throughout the Denver metro area to cover various assignments. If there are no call-offs on the day you are scheduled, you will have the option to leave early.
Pay Rate: $27.46 per hour
Schedule: Day (0500-1300 &0600-1400), Afternoon (1300-2100&1400-2200), and Overnight (2100-0500)
Location: Denver, Englewood, North Denver
Qualifications: Prior Law Enforcement experience, Military with honorable discharge, or Corrections experience. May be substituted with 7 years of unarmed security experience, 3 years of armed security, or 60 college credit units

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicleWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsSound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articlesPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exitsObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirementsInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the postAid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
