Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is looking for an Armed Security Operations Manager to provide security support and security program management for our client in Pittsburgh, PA.

This highly functional, custom-built team will be tasked with safeguarding personnel, property, and reputation as directed by the client. The key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Work with relevant stakeholders to further develop the client’s current security programAssist with executive protection when requested by the clientConduct roving patrols at client locations when/where neededThe ability to carry a handgun concealed in performance of daily dutiesTeach office-based active threat response (Run, Hide, Fight or similar) and other safety and security related topics to client employeesWork event security where/when needed (situational internal and public facing events)Liaise with event security to build industry standard for risk mitigation protocols for executives and employeesAssist with high-risk employee terminations when requested by the clientProduce high-level reports, presentations, and documentation at the request of the clientOther security-related duties as assigned by the clientAssist with executive protection operations when neededManage additional executive protection/security personnelProvide exceptional service by being personable, professional, proactive and responsive to the clientUnderstanding and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and relationships with all stakeholdersEstablishing trust and confidence with all stakeholdersLeading and demonstrating excellent team-ability (collaboration, communication, cooperation, etc.) in a cross-functional work environmentCommunicating (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner using assigned equipment (i.e., radio, cellular phone, computer, etc.) with all stakeholdersGathering and assessing information (sometimes under duress) while exercise sound judgement, logic and reasoning in the decision-making process, and escalating issues appropriately to appropriate stakeholders.Working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment that changes from day to dayAdapting to changing operational requirements as directed by stakeholdersMulti-tasking, prioritizing, and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective mannerProviding deliverables to stakeholders in accordance with standard operating proceduresPerforming routine administrative functions as per standard operating proceduresInteracting with all levels of corporate management, internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnelPossessing the ability to brief, defend, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policiesProviding covert and overt protection to the designated clients, properties, and personnel depending on the situation and requirements of the clientReporting to the EPS management team on projects and deliverablesSafeguarding the work site, personnel and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential informationConducting all facets of protective dutiesCreating, implementing and updating security post orders and Standard Operating ProceduresContinually assessing and improving team readiness and capabilitiesFollowing and enhancing the directed SOWParticipating in operational sustainment trainingConducting ongoing threats, risk, and vulnerability assessmentsWorking directly as a liaison with local law enforcement to ensure business continuity when requiredSafeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information of Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services, the client and/or principalProviding and receiving constructive feedback for improvement of team operationsSafeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazardsOperating company and/or client vehicles in a safe and legal mannerTransporting the principal in designated vehicles in a safe, professional and efficient mannerTraveling (domestically and internationally) in support of protective operationsConducting security advances and security operations plans for dissemination to stakeholdersBeing physical and mentally capable of utilizing legal and appropriate physical response optionsResponding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately, and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical propertyCommunicating with first responders and stakeholders to coordinate and provide support in the event of an emergencyProviding appropriate medical treatment as necessaryConducting through investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with reports, pictures and witness statementsSuccessfully completing annual and sustainment training requirementsDemonstrating proficiency, proper care of and accountability of required equipmentProviding regular and consistent communication regarding any issues with employment, payroll, benefits and paid time off (PTO) with appropriate stakeholdersThe ability to work irregular or extended hours with an ever-changing schedule. Typical schedules include overtime, nights, holidays and weekends on a regular basisMaintaining a professional and/or appropriate personal appearancePerforming other duties as assigned by AUS Director or the clientPosition will be 35% Executive Protection/Driving/Event Security and 65% Security management, focused on managing the client’s security programWill build SOPs, best industry practices, advising on best security practices, active threat program build out among other duties

Requirements:

The ability to legally carry a concealed handgun in the course of professional dutiesMust have former law enforcement, military and/or executive protection experienceMust have received formal defensive driving training from a recognized private sector or government institutionMust have a PA-LCTF (license to carry-F)

Compensation & Benefits:

$115,000 annually
