What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies in a healthcare location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Carry and handle assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site policy, using sound judgment and clear communication.Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and medical facility emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report conditions requiring attention.Control access and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, access control, and alarm panels, completing detailed reports and documenting incidents, patrols, and key activities per policy.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card/license.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.Be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
