Armed Protective Service Officer
**Summary** The Armed Protective Service Officer (PSO) is primarily responsible for performing armed protective service work for the U.S Office of Personnel Management. **_*This position is contingent upon contract award*_** **Responsibilities** + Required to perform a variety of security-related duties, depending on the type of posts to which they are assigned. + Responsible for maintaining logs, reports, and files of all incidents and occurrences encountered during the shift. + Patrol duties must be performed in a professional manner, + Responsible for observing the environment and questioning suspicious activy when necessary. + Required to follow and be familiar with the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience, military, or National Guard service are required. Relevant experience may be substituted by successful completion of a state-certified Law Enforcement Education and Training program, Police Officer’s Standard Training course, or one (1) year of full-duty service as a sworn U.S. law enforcement officer. + Must be a US citizen. + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. + Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. **Estimated Salary/Wage** USD $20.00/Hr.
