Job Description

As an Area Manager you are responsible for maximizing sales and profitability and lead the area according to brand values, standards, policies and routines together with the store. Always with our customer in focus.

What you will do:

As staff responsible you are responsible for being compliant to company policies and local legislation to secure and protect employee relations and experience.

 

Core Sales & Operations Responsibilities

1. Business Growth

Drive retail stores top line sales growth to reach area budget.Constantly look for improvement to reduce operation cost.Lead and update store managers on business performance, area and company goals.Initiate changes to improve the business together with Store Managers and Area Team.Plan and manage resources for all stores and expansion projects within the area.

2. Store Operations

Keep store operations at a high-level standard which is in line with global guideline & company expectations.Ensure optimal resource & manpower planning to support smooth operations, effective stock management and minimizing shrinkage.Ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation.

3. Customer Experience

Inspire excellence and passion for customer service in the area.Propose and execute customer service standards that exceed customer expectations.Empower the store team to provide excellent service and enhance loyalty.

4. Team management

Oversee recruitment, training, and development of store management team to fill competency gaps.Collaborate with the Store Experience Manager and HRBP to implement succession planning and employee development pathways.Plan and coordinate staffing resources for new store openings.

 

Café-Specific Responsibilities

Receive and implement initiatives from the Central Café Team concerning concept, budget, and goals.Collaborate with Café Managers and Store Managers to initiate improvements in café business performance.Select, manage and maintain suppliers, producers, and wholesalers for café-related products.Ensure all café procurement activities comply with central agreements, traceability requirements, and certification demands.

What you need to succeed:

8+ years in retail store operation, experience in retail/fashion industry will be preferred.Leadership experience and good communication skills.Good commercial sense & business administration skills.Ability to travel.Spoken and written language skills: Mandarin and professional-level English.
