Location: Connecticut (Must reside in CT; regular in-state travel to locations required)
Schedule: 1st Shift
Salary Range: $70,000 – $72,500/year

Join our team and help lead our area training efforts to the next level!About the RoleThe Area Training Manager is responsible for overseeing training programs across multiple locations within Connecticut. This hybrid role requires a blend of remote work, on-site support, and frequent in-state travel. You’ll manage and support a team of trainers, work closely with local operations, ensure compliance, and drive training excellence to support successful onboarding and safety initiatives.What You’ll Be DoingTraining Program Management: Execute company training programs, partner with location managers, and deliver both new hire and ongoing safety training.

Trainer Supervision: Manage, schedule, and coach trainers across the area to optimize training coverage and ensure certifications/compliance.

Candidate Onboarding: Work with CX Specialists to guide candidates through training and onboarding.

Collaboration: Partner with operations and safety teams to align training with company and safety goals.

Compliance: Maintain training records and documentation; ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Quality Control: Monitor and support training delivery for consistency and excellence; drive continuous improvement.

Resource Planning: Plan, allocate, and recruit for training resources as needed.

Hands-On Support: Provide direct support and backup coverage for training sessions when necessary; travel to sites as required (up to 50%).

Reporting: Prepare and analyze training reports to help guide future improvements.

What You’ll NeedExperience: 3+ years of management experience (preferably in training, transportation, or safety operations).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to prioritize, proficiency with Microsoft Office and training systems.

Travel: Must have the ability to travel throughout Connecticut (up to 50%); may need to drive a company or personal vehicle.
