Area Sales Supervisor

The Area Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing salesmen to achieve distribution targets and ensure effective territory management. This role involves expanding outlet coverage, managing retail stocks, building trade relationships, and ensuring accurate reporting. The incumbent will also handle cash collection and credit management while providing support to the sales team to deliver optimal performance.

As the Area Sales Supervisor, you will: 

Territory Management

Supervise salesmen to meet volume targets by brand/SKU through daily and weekly monitoring. Ensure achievement of SKU distribution targets, product availability, and visibility. Review and optimize outlet coverage, calls per day, strike rate targets, and route plans. Provide guidance on expanding coverage to new outlets. Optimize resources to enhance territory performance.

Customer Management

Build and maintain close relationships with trade partners to secure high trade support and loyalty. Manage cash collection and retail credit accurately. Monitor retail stock levels to avoid stock shortages and ensure proper stock rotation.

Activation at Point of Sales

Direct deployment of marketing and communication materials in alignment with field force execution guidelines.

Tools & Reporting

Ensure salesmen utilize TME Lite for accurate and timely reporting. Verify the accuracy of all reports and ensure deadlines are met.

 

Requirements:

Minimum high school graduate; a bachelor’s degree is a plus. Up to 3 years of experience managing sales personnel in an FMCG company. With valid driver’s license. Excellent Khmer communication skills (spoken and written); good English proficiency. Strong computer literacy. Skills: persuasive selling, communication, relationship-building, supervisory, negotiation, and working under pressure. Willingness to travel long distances.
