The **Area** **Sales Manager** will be responsible for promoting and developing the sale of our water analysis solutions in the main markets of the French regions of Switzerland. He will have to technically support customers in order to acquire a greater number of orders and carry out adequate territorial analyses relating to the market trend. The ideal candidate has gained experience: (1) in the fields of water treatment or in the marketing of scientific instrumentation, a background in chemistry will be a plus, (2) prospecting, business development and good negotiation. **In this role, the typical day will be as follows:** + Product visits and demonstrations at customer sites + Business Negotiation + Actions for the retention of acquired customers and for the research and development of new ones + Measures and countermeasures for the achievement of annual sales targets + Timely and accurate reporting through SalesForce corporate CRM **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Degree in science, engineering or equivalent experience + Direct experience gained in the sale or use of analysis instrumentation. If it is in the water treatment sector it will be a plus + Residence in the French region of Switzerland and willingness to travel throughout the all the French speaking regions. A few trips (1-4) per year could be in Europe for trainings and meetings. + Good knowledge of the Office package, good knowledge of both spoken and written French and English, with German as a plus.
