Position Summary

This role sits within the CE Sales team for TV/AV. Samsung has been the No 1 TV brand for 14 years. The team is very structured and focused with short reporting lines which enable the team to react quickly to opportunities!

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

Management of Key Buying Group Accounts and Members.

Forecast planning and management.

Regular Business Review meetings.

Sales Management of a specific set of Independent channel customer accounts covering a specific region of the UK to deliver business results.

Achievement of specific sales target.

Follow channelisation strategy.

Budget planning and management - SOA/PP.

Work with channel team to deliver marketing excellence.

Close liaison with field team to deliver joined up approach.

Work with Finance team to ensure account is managed within strict Samsung Finance guidelines.

Liaise with Service team to ensure Service guidelines are adhered to.

Regular field visits to stores across the south east to ensure compliance to merchandising plan.

Maintain product knowledge at expert level using internal training resources.

Complete weekly performance and turnover reports for accounts in the requested format.

Create and supply presentation material or business background reports upon request.

Assist colleagues when required by covering absences and completing essential tasks.

When handling promotional requests, ensure lines of authorisation are closely followed.

Create and deliver upon an annual development plan set in accordance with Samsung training and development regulations.

Create account business performance tracking documents as required to achieve targets.

Create required documents for relevant MBR meetings to support Channel head for Indies.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Experience required:

Strong account management experience at Field Sales level

Demonstrable excellence in journey planning & account visits management

Experience in forecasting

Proven experience of strong relationship building skills

Consistent track record in sales

Required Soft skills:

Good time management

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Strong negotiator

Must be a great team mate and have the ability to work towards team goals within the divisional strategy

What does success look like?

Self starter with strong organisation skills ideal (but not essential) knowledge of the Consumer Electronics market.

Most important is the required demeanour & ability to deliver results with energy & professionalism – this is an excellent role for an individual looking to develop their career in an extremely fast paced Sales environment who will demonstrate significant success in a short space of time.
