In order to bring superior quality products to our customers, we are adding an Area Sales Manager (ASM) to the Team. The right individual will understand our brand & products, build strong business relationships with our customers, think critically and creatively, and most importantly…offer world-class leadership to our field sales team.

The Area Sales Manager will grow sales and provide consistent product, program and marketing support to current and new customers in an assigned area. This teammate will provide a forecast, review key performance metrics in their area, identify local trends and industry trends and pursue opportunities for growth both with our current customer base and new customers.

** This person will need to live in Utah, Montana or Idaho **

ResponsibilitiesProactively identifying, qualifying, closing and growing new accountsStewarding and expanding existing Bridgestone businessDeveloping and delivering product demonstrations, marketing opportunities & program supportForecasting product needsExercising strong enterprise decision making, finding creative ways to support the customer while increasing profitability for BridgestoneServing the customer with excellence through relationshipsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of sales experience. Successfully closing new business while growing and renewing existing customer base. Maintain an innovative attitude while creating strategies for existing customer growth and new lead generationAbility to understand your customer, develop strategies for success, execute your strategy, and monitor success. Be flexible enough to evolve as needed for sustainable growth.You must be able to conduct high level conversations with decision makersDisplay personal integrity that allows you to rise above your competitionManage your area with honesty, servanthood, excellence, discipline and accountability

Additional Preferred Skills and Experience Include:

Some knowledge of the tire industry and competitive productsSome experience in the retail tire business, customer facing preferred
