Description Sort Center area manager would manage third-party logistics sort center Operating on Amazon tools, systems and infrastructure. Area Manager would monitor safety , performance matrix including (DEA , dwell , reverse logistics, .. ) & financials to assure best customer experience delivering & receiving shipments from different nodes & manage CPT & truck utilization . Key job responsibilities -Manage Amazon & 3PL team on site -Processing and sorting packages by destination -Supporting loading/unloading operations -Managing backlog and inventory flow -Coordinating with carriers and other Amazon facilities -Handling missorts and ensuring proper routing -Following standard operating procedures for loading delays and other operational challenges Basic Qualifications - 1+ years of employee and performance management experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
