We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to lead and manage manufacturing operations across assigned departments. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products in accordance with established procedures and performance standards. The Area Manager will oversee multiple shifts and/or departments and is expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise in manufacturing processes, leadership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met.Maintain a safe, injury-free work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Supervise and develop Supervisors and Team Leads to drive accountability and performance.Ensure adherence to process controls, operating procedures, and quality standards.Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand in the most cost-effective manner.Monitor and manage performance metrics, including throughput, earned hours, and budget adherence.Conduct performance evaluations, manage employee relations, support hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.Develop and implement training programs for leadership and production staff focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.Foster a culture of continuous improvement through metrics, employee engagement, and lean manufacturing practices.Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet production requirements.Submit capital equipment requests with appropriate cost justifications.

Qualifications
