Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for the outbound operations at our Nova Santa Rita/RS Distribution Center on the night shift. This role will focus on Team Safety, Operational Quality, Team Management, delivering the best customer experience, and exceeding productivity targets.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Implement and strengthen safety culture during shifts, ensuring the team works safely and risks are eliminated
- Review shift production forecasts and allocate resources to meet targets
- Monitor production and productivity metrics to quickly correct deviations
- Maintain routines to develop team knowledge and skills, address problems, and provide employees with a safe, fun, and high-performance environment


A day in the life
The outbound operations area is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
As an Area Manager, your goal will be to ensure resources are in place for these activities to be completed effectively. This means ensuring:

- Team members are in the correct positions
- Operational routines are followed
- Productivity targets are met
- Training is up-to-date
- Problems are resolved quickly and permanently
When metrics fall below target, you will be responsible for investigating to find the root cause and implementing corrective actions.
This role requires schedule flexibility, especially during peak demand periods.
