Job Description Country Manager – Saudi Arabia (Maritime / Port Operations)
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Salary: $120,000 per year + 10–20% annual bonus
Relocation support: Assistance with moving, plus up to one month’s accommodation.
A unique leadership opportunity has arisen for a Country Manager to lead a new maritime office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is perfect for an experienced maritime professional looking to set up and grow operations in a high-potential market.
The Role:
Establish and manage a new office, initially overseeing 5–6 staff, with plans to grow the team to 15–20. Take responsibility for agency and liner operations, ensuring smooth and compliant daily activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with port authorities, clients, and key stakeholders. Focus on operational setup and local market integration, while also supporting business development. Contribute to regional expansion plans, with long-term opportunities across the Middle East. What We’re Looking For:
Saudi nationals preferred, but expatriates with deep local knowledge and integration (15+ years in Saudi) are considered. Extensive experience in ship agency and port operations, with strong leadership and managerial experience. Proven ability to set up and manage teams, processes, and offices from scratch. Strong network within the Saudi maritime ecosystem, including port authorities, customs, and regulatory bodies. Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of maritime regulations, shipping practices, and port operations. Why This Role?
