Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

This on-site role is located at TSMC in North Phoenix and will initially require no travel for the first couple of years. Following that period, the position may require up to 25% travel, including overnight stays based on project assignments. You will lead field operations teams at multiple customer sites or large single sites, responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a diverse team of site managers, adjustment technicians, safety managers, and mechanical and electrical contractors. You will coordinate with international and local installation leaders to drive objectives related to installation and create long-term plans and schedules to support projects with highly trained personnel, qualified contractors, and required materials. Your performance is expected to meet or exceed customer and company expectations in safety, schedule, cost, and quality.

ResponsibilitiesModel safe behaviors and drive safety programs at operational and organizational levels.Support quality processes to deliver QA/QC requirements and facilitate high-quality handoffs to customers and service teams.Hire, train, and manage diverse teams of leaders, quality, technical, and safety personnel.Manage customer relationships through project meetings, on-site and remote interactions, and leadership of project teams.Capably manage teams executing projects valued at over $50 million, potentially at multiple sites.Manage labor and contract budgets exceeding $5 million across multiple sites and challenging customer locations.Proactively address problems and manage escalations to achieve customer satisfaction and address root cause issues.Coach and mentor site leadership personnel to deliver project objectives.Hire new talent and develop the next generation of site leaders and technical experts.Work with peers in safety, quality, continuous improvement, sales/account management, and international teams to support efforts and initiatives.Assist Directors of Operations in executing strategic objectives and establishing goals for assigned team members.Create project level planning and coordinate resource needs with Directors of Operations.Align goals and implement plans with global operations leadership.Drive continuous improvement efforts and efficient processes and practices.Develop and implement critical KPIs for each project to measure effectiveness.Manage project level budgets in cooperation with account managers and directors of operations.Troubleshoot, analyze, document, and communicate findings and solutions for problems with assigned systems to the component level and/or software.Essential SkillsManagement skills with a strong history of leadership in site management and scheduling on larger projects.Experience in a technical installation environment with a focus on semiconductor equipment.Customer services and client management experience.Program management, project management, and construction management skills.Bachelor’s Degree with more than 5 years of complex project/site leadership experience or equivalent education and experience.Minimum of 5 years of previous site management and scheduling experience on larger projects.Technical degree preferred.3+ years of experience in providing quality installation of North America CFA installations.5+ years of experience in executing orders from clients and keeping projects on track with a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing teams for installs.Capability to prevent escalations from reaching executive leaders.Strong client relationship management skills.Work Environment

The work environment includes a semiconductor clean room environment and occasional work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate. Physical demands include using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. The role may require standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $67.00/hr.
