Area Loss Prevention Manager
About The RoleThe Area Asset Protection Manager, reporting to the Senior Asset Protection Manager of Retail and Sales, oversees Asset Protection, safety, and security strategies across multiple single unit locations. The preferred candidate will have comprehensive expertise in multi-unit management, quality, compliance, safety, and shortage programs. Responsibilities include leading the team to execute the Asset Protection program effectively and collaborating with cross-functional teams for optimal results. The ideal candidate embodies company values and effectively communicates them to both customers and employees.

What You Get To Do Everyday

Directly manage a team of Asset Protection employees. 

Responsible for physical security of the building

Support all Asset Protection functions for the concept store and help support surrounding markets as needed

Conduct all internal and external investigations and bring to closure

Develop and manage safety and security processes and procedures, including business continuity plans

Develop and manage Asset Protection processes and procedures, including security camera management, EAS system, and alarm system for The RealReal’s first brick and mortar store

Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws

Work closely with the entire leadership team of The RealReal concept store

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of retail Asset Protection management experience

Ability to work well with all levels of management within the company

Strong leadership presence

Ability to work cross functionally with all levels of leadership

Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter

Strong understanding of physical security including CCTV, EAS, alarms, access control, and lock and key

Strong leadership and team building experience

Highly organized and ability to adapt to shifting priorities

Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements

4-year bachelor’s degree

The expected salary range for this role is $87,210.00-$105,060.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
