WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are now looking for an Area Business Controller to Area North based in Uppsala!
As a Area Controller at H&M, you will be responsible for the Store P&L and for driving forward key KPIs. You will lead operational controlling strategies through strong cooperation with your Area Team and stores. Together with the Area Team you are responsible for reaching the Sales & Profit goals by securing that the stores deliver a great customer service. Acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach, you train and coach stores and your Area Team on controlling topics, to enable our people and our business to grow. You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of our customers and colleagues.

Job Description

Increase selling and profitability

Be an ambassador for a profitability mindsetEnsuring profitable growth on all P&L lines related to storeSet commercial action plans in line with country goals on a daily, weekly, monthly basisPerform monthly Profit & Loss analysis.

Secure correct scheduling

Regularly follow up on sales and hours planningSet hourly function plans with store management to enable strong store operationsSet the desired contract structure for every store, in line with the country goals

Secure best practice garment availability

Drive commerciality and sellingTogether with merchandising and stores, follow up on/ensure the right stock levels  

People and Teams

Acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach; you support stores and the area team to enable great teams from a controlling perspective.

Collaborate regularly with functions across the Country support officeEducate store management and area team members on all controlling aspectsSupport your area team members with clear analysis to support their development and actions

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

​In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the successful expansion of the business. You will work closely with the Area, Controlling, and Store teams, providing key insights and recommendations.
