Key Dimensions

As an Area Commercial Lead, the role entails developing and coordinating customer engagement plans aligned with brand strategies across the assigned area. The position is responsible for driving data-driven decision making and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to optimize customer experience and business outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

The Area Commercial Lead, is responsible for bridging the strategy and field execution, ensuring consistent customer experience across all touchpoints while driving data-driven decision making within the organization. his role is pivotal in orchestrating omnichannel customer engagement and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to deliver superior customer value.Strategic Planning & Execution: Identify and develop area customer engagement plans in collaboration with Zonal Commercial leadsDrive and coordinate customer engagement initiatives by translating global/brand strategies into field tacticsSupport strategic planning and ensure alignment between brand objectives and field executionArea campaign planning with proper budget controlCross-functional Collaboration & Liaison: Liaise with Zonal Commercial leads (ZCL) on market development & brand engagement activities aligned with Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) and Customer experience planner (CEP)Work in close coordination with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to ensure smooth transition of every account to the calling list of field teams for meaningful engagementBridge between HQ and commercial team based on analysis of campaign feedback, insight, execution KPIs and objective evaluationFacilitate collaborationData-Driven Decision Support: Support and facilitate data-driven decision-making for field teams by providing regular performance data and analyticsAlert FFs on SFKPIs of each center & monitor outcome efficiencies of effortsAnalyze campaign feedback, insights, and execution KPIs to continuously improve engagement strategiesOmnichannel Orchestration: Play the bridge role between HQ omnichannel customer strategy and field force executionRecognize customer channel preferences and orchestrate seamless experiencesPartner with Commercial Lead on omnichannel and KOL engagement planning and feedbackEvent & Speaker Program Management: Log speaker engagement programs & liaise with Medical OperationsCoordinate slides & documents required for sessions Implement regional events, speaker programs, and strategic initiativesAgile Ways of Working: Foster collaboration and agile work seeking to become a self-organized teamPromote continuous improvement and adaptationTalent management

About You

Experience: 10+ years in Pharma sales with prior experience in a people management role is prefferedSkills Required: Sales Management, People Management , Strategic and innovative thinking, Conceptualizing, Achievement Orientation, Teamwork & Collaboration, Influencing & execution and Monitoring & evaluation, Learning Agility, Change Management / Leading TransformationEducation: Graduate degree in Science/ Pharmacy, master’s degree in business administration with Marketing Specialization(preferable).Regional Experience - Prior experience/understating of respective regions/markets is preferred. Multiple market exposure will be an added advantage.Prior experience in diabetes & diverse insulin segments is preferred
