Lead the complete design process for Stations. iPrepare high-level design proposals and presentations for client and stakeholder approval. iPerform comprehensive inter-disciplinary coordination with Structural, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire), E&M, and Specialized Rail Systems teams. iReview and approve Shop Drawings, RFIs (Request for Information), and Material Submittals to ensure alignment with the permanent works design. Conduct technical assessments on Contractor’s Claims and provide detailed technical justifications. Support the Cost and Contracts team in evaluating variations and commercial implications. Apply deep knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts to manage design-build or design-bid-build interfaces effectively. Develop and implement robust Site Inspection Plans in coordination with other Resident Engineers. Conduct and lead site inspections to ensure works adhere to approved drawings and quality standards. Review and approve Contractor’s Method Statements and selection of materials. Monitor and review the Contractor’s Program Schedule and timelines, identifying risks to the critical path. Act as the primary architectural liaison with Government Authorities and local municipalities for approvals. Ensure all designs meet international code requirements, specifically NFPA (Life Safety) and relevant International Building Codes. Support the Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager in daily strategic and operational activities.
