Architectural Products Coordinator

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an Architectural Products Coordinator to support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC (Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6), reporting to the Architectural Operations Manager. Day in the LifeReview estimates after tender close to determine costs of materials, labour, material, etc.Review work orders and shop drawingsInspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedulesAssist Project Managers & Superintendents to ensure that delivery of critical elements are expedited and coordinatedContribute to all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence and customer expectationsPerform routine site visits and attend site meetings as requiredPlan, coordinate and supervise on site functions including; Oversee Foremen, Crews and Sub-Contractors, ensuring all on site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work and equipment maintenance rules, quality standards, and schedulesAssist in managing project budgetsReview project information and complete submittals in a timely mannerComplete daily production and progress reports and maintain project recordsProactively determine equipment needs on site and coordinate their deliveryReport all issues to the Project Manager and submit any required information to the client as directedConfer with project team, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any construction problemsWhat We Offer Competitive wages and benefits RRSP MatchingGreat environment where our motto is "Flynn Family Winning Together!"On-going career development programs through our in-house Flynn University and eLearning coursesWhat We Are Seeking Architectural Technology Diploma, Construction Management Diploma, Estimating Certificate, related academic courses or equivalent work experienceExperience with Glazing, Metal Panels, Roofing or the entire Building Envelope an assetAbility to interpret and read blueprints and specificationsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Highly motivated with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilitiesStrong negotiation skillsAbility to multi task and work in a team environment$65,000 - $75,000 a year
