A Day in the Life:
Manage day-to-day operations of the Architectural division while collaborating with other divisions as required       Review all aspects of a new order including estimate, pre-plan information, etc.Attend and facilitate weekly project status meetingsLead and delegate project distribution and manage team members Collaborate in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures and attainment of operating goalsRepresent Flynn in new business opportunities through contact with individuals who are a critical part of new project opportunitiesSecure follow-up work with existing clients based on past performanceResponsible for developing a strong team within the division and building continuity within the group Establish and maintain client relationships and develop a high level of trust and credibility with clients, alliance partners, subcontractors, and project team Interview, develop, and retain high-performing employeesMonthly management updates to assure projects are progressing as scheduled and within budget
What You Bring:
10 or more years of experience in construction industry preferredStrong people skills including abilities to teach, coach and mentorDegree in Construction Management, Business, or related educational field preferred. Experience in lieu of acceptedStrong knowledge of Architectural Metal/Panels requiredKnowledge of commercial Glazing work is an assetFinance knowledge or experience managing budgets requiredComputer proficiency (MS Office) and knowledge of or ability to learn project management software as well as proprietary Flynn SoftwareAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, while providing exemplary customer service
