Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional outdoor spaces that enhance our clients' properties and communities.
Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts for a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial and public spacesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists, to create integrated design solutionsProduce detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, and specificationsConduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisionsIncorporate sustainable design practices and water-efficient landscaping techniques suitable for the arid climate of Saudi ArabiaManage projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetsPresent design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design intent and rationaleStay updated on local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards related to landscape architectureMentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture departmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture; Master's degree is a plus6-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of successful project deliveryProficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, and RhinoExperience with 3D rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, or TwinmotionStrong knowledge of design detailing, construction techniques, and project documentationFamiliarity with design, tender, and construction processesExperience working on large-scale projects in arid climatesUnderstanding of sustainable landscape design practices and water conservation techniquesKnowledge of local flora and climate conditions in Saudi ArabiaExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentCreative mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
